Junk Faxes

The fax machine is an essential tool in modern life.  Unfortunately, many illegitimate businesses blast fax unsolicited advertisements to consumers and businesses.  Not only does this waste paper and toner, but it interferes with productivity and legitimate fax transmissions.  Even if you do not own a fax machine, you can be the victim of a blast fax company that engages in "war dialing."  "War dialing" is where the blast faxer calls every phone number in an area in order to locate fax machines.  Not only is this annoying, but it is often done in the middle of the night, as are the sending of unsolicited faxes.  While the blast faxers and many of their clients are not worth pursuing (i.e., no seizable assets or it will cost more than $1,500 to obtain judgment and payment), some legitimate businesses do occassionally send faxes in violation of the law.  Below are some tools you can use to track down who sent you a junk fax.  Feel free to contact us if you need help pursuing a junk faxer.
